The purposes for visitors to the region is lead by holiday or leisure (50.2%). The groups visiting our region are lead by families (33%) seeking good value entertainment and experiences, followed by wanderers (27%) taking time to explore and discover and finally peer group travelers (22%) seeking fun experiences with friends.

Efficient access to transport services offer opportunity to markets in Sydney, Melbourne and larger regional areas. Passenger coach services are available on a daily basis as are flights from larger regional areas within 160 km, Jerilderie also has its own sealed airfield available to private planes and chartered flights.
