Welcome to Issue 5 – 2010 Murray Now eNewsletter,

This month we feature an amazing story of how a family-owned harvest contracting business turned a venture into a world wide trip feeding millions. A regional commercial construction manufacturer took a punt on a Sri Lankan engineer and it paid off. Find out why businesses benefit from investing in their intellectual property and we talk with a Euston table grape grower who is young and keen to make a difference. You may recall from my last eNewsletter the Murray Now team were heading down to “Jeff’s Shed” for the Melbourne Careers & Employment Expo to showcase the Murray region. We had an overwheming response from dentists, civil and mechanical engineers, IT professionals and even robotic & mechatronic technicians. If anyone would like to find out more please send me an email.

Due to popular demand the Murray Now team has locked in a date for the next State of the Region Dinner so please mark it in your calendar – Saturday 19 February 2011. This will be another stellar event with some extras that you will find out about in due course!
